This Album takes the listener or visitor of Arnhemland, and especially Kakadu National Park on a Musical and Cultural Journey, told through narration, and songs of Indigenous people of the region in the Northern Territory of Australia.

"Everything in our world is divided between two worlds-anthropologists call these two worlds moieties, we call them dhuwa and yirritja.
Everything, every person, every animal, every rock and every tree is either dhuwa or yirritja." "Dhuwa and Yirritja balance each other- they are the two halves that make our world complete. Everything you can feel, every thing you can see and everything that moves is both named and connected to us, we belong to the land to the sea to the animals and the land belongs to us. All of the country you travel through and all of the things in that country are special to Aboriginal people." Extract from the album NarrationWomen’s Song on the album Crow Fire Music by Waak Waak Jungi,  from Borooloola /South East Arnhemland. Sung traditionally by the women as their young sons are taken away by the men for initiation for the duration of the ceremony.

"Mamba is the little sand crab. In this song the seagull is trying to catch the sand crab. The seagull is flying on the breeze and the bird dives down to catch the crab…" Mamba (traditional) - from the liner notes of the album “Mamba” Ralkurru Marika.

"When the sea is calm from beneath he ventures to the surface underneath the surface lies Gopuru", Gopuru - from the album Gapu Damarrung by the Saltwater Band.
