“He is the singer who has become the voice of a nation - the musician plucked from obscurity to provide the track for Tourism Australia’s new $250 million ad campaign, with a song that is now representing our country on the global stage...” - the introduction to Dewayne Everettsmith as he wooed audiences across Australia with his acoustic version of “Its Like Love” on the Morning Show, 25th Sept.

Ahead of his performance at the Deadly Awards at the Sydney Opera House tonight, Dewayne dropped into the Channel 7 studios to play “Its Like Love”, featuring the first public showcase of his custom-made Maton Guitar guitar (featuring a mother-of-pearl inlay of a Devil) - which was created as a tribute to Dewayne’s work as a National Ambassador for the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal (pictured below).

Dewayne’s song - “It’s Like Love” is working its way around the world right now, and was released on Itunes Australia just last week.

Today’s TV performance shot this single immediately up to #3 on the ITunes Singer-Songwriter Charts.
