In 2004, the Nabarlek Band embarked on an epic seven week tour of regional and remote communities of Western Australia. The story of that tour is the story of a band a long way from home, breaking new ground. Many of the communities in the Great Sandy Desert had never been visited by any band before and for Nabarlek, one of the most popular bands in Aboriginal Australia, to be visiting created great excitment.
